Welcome to Mike Mol's(email me)website. There's not a whole lot here yet, just some stuff about me, my family, and my projects.

I'm (currently) interested in ANNs, AI, and mass-spring systems. I've always been interested in computers and electronics in general. In fact, I'm planning on earning a degree from Ferris State University in electronics.

I tend to go on a new "kick" every month or two, so visit this page every now and then to see what I'm like this month. <grin> I hang out on IRC, on the OpenProjects Network. I'm usually in the #quakeforge channel, which is the public development channel for QuakeForge, a Quake engine that I like to think I make valuable contributions to.

I host a couple of SourceForge projects, one that's building a BBS, and one that hosts descriptions of projects whose conceivers don't have time to follow through with. There are thousands of SF projects, and I'm willing to bet that a lot of them aren't productive at all, since their founders haven't had time, or have moved on.

Since I haven't had time to maintain either of my SF projects, I'll list a few of my ideas/projects that I haven't had time to follow through with:

I'll probably put more projects up here as I have time.

I'm also a Linux fanatic. My favorite animal is the penguin. I imagine armies of them laying seige to Redmond, WA. 'nuff said. There are many, many decent Linux websites out there. Here are but a few:: linux.org(information), linuxnewbie.org(information), OSDN.com(general), freshmeat.net(software), sourceforge.net(software), linuxdoc.org(information), linux-laptop.net(information), www.slashdot.org(news).

I work for a very small ISP local to Grand Rapids, MI. You can reach us at (616)454-2215. As of this writing, we charge $15/mo. You can telnet to the more social aspect of our system by clicking here, or pointing your telnet client at "grnet.com".
